The trail aims to empower local communities, enhance livelihoods, and promote environmental and cultural preservation.
Our focus
For each of the Office Hours projects, we prioritize key metrics that directly align with our mission. For the Rwenzori Trail, we focus on increasing global awareness of the trail, building strategic partnerships, and enhancing community and environmental resources. This includes:
Refining Program Storytelling and Global Positioning to elevate the trail’s visibility and attract sustainable tourism.
Building Strategic Partnerships with tourism boards, NGOs, and industry leaders to drive project sustainability.
Enhancing Community and Environmental Resources to ensure that ecotourism directly benefits local communities.
Promoting Measurable Impact Aligned with UN SDGs, focusing on employment, sustainability, and cultural preservation.
