Milk Plus

by JENS SETTERGREN

We are pleased to present exclusive video documentation of Milk Plus, an exhibition by Danish artist Jens Settergren held at Viborg Kunsthal in Denmark from September 19, 2024 to January 12, 2025, curated by Bodil Monrad. This special viewing offers a rare opportunity to experience Settergren’s immersive film installation, which interrogates the symbolic evolution of milk—from maternal nourishment to synthetic commodity—through the lens of advertising, biotechnology, and posthuman desire.

Available only until June 30, 2025, the video invites viewers to engage with Settergren’s speculative, milk-slicked future—where consciousness, consumption, and cultural memory collide.

Jens Settergren is a Danish artist whose work explores the entanglements of nature, technology, and image culture. Working across video, sculpture, photography, and digital animation, he reconfigures familiar objects and commercial imagery to examine collective fears, fantasies, and the forces shaping perception. A graduate of the Jutland Academy of Fine Arts, Settergren has exhibited widely, including at Kunsthal Aarhus, Haus der Kulturen der Welt, Art Sonje Center, and the National Gallery of Denmark. His public art commissions and institutional collaborations have earned him major support from the Danish Arts Foundation and the Carl Nielsen Talent Prize.
